Getting Ready!
You and your partner can arrive on the Thursday afternoon from 2pm and settle into your private wing of the house, Elinor Fettiplace.
You can book in to have a massage each in our shepherd’s hut, The Blissful Bower, and enjoy seeing your marquee/tipi being set up ready for your wedding. Have an chilled but intimate evening together getting excited about the big weekend celebrations ahead of you!
Your 22 family and friends will arrive on the Friday and Melissa will meet you all and chat about any last minute plans before leaving you to enjoy Pauntley with your guests staying with you for the whole weekend.
Have some pre-wedding fun by decorating your tables in the marquee and a game of croquet or petanque before getting the weekend started with a relaxed dinner on the terrace in the Walled Garden before the big day!

Accomodation
There are ten comfortable bedrooms and nine modern bathrooms for you and up to 22 friends and family to choose from. Each room will have freshly cut flowers from the garden, The White Company linens and towels and we also provide gowns and slippers as well as 100 acres toiletries, so all your guests will feel very spoilt during their stay away.
The couple will reside in the beautiful Elinor Fettiplace suite to enjoy and retire to each evening. On your wedding day, these rooms can be used to get ready with your best friends, sip on some champagne while you get your hair and makeup done. Our wonderful housekeeper Rachel can also happily cook breakfast for your guests on both Saturday or Sunday morning.
Your extra guests can stay very close by in excellent local accommodation just down the road from Pauntley Court.

Your Wedding Day!
In the run up to your wedding, your dedicated wedding coordinator will give you up to four hours of her time to go through suppliers, timings and any ideas or plans you have for your wedding. On the day, one of our wedding coordinators will be there from 9am to 6pm, to ensure everything runs to plan.
After your ceremony on the lawn or in the church, you and your guests will wander through magical garden and rooms with drinks in hand and perhaps some ambient music while your photographer captures some magical moments.
Afterwards, enjoy an elegant wedding breakfast in your marquee or tipi of choice followed by speeches, cake cutting and then dancing the night away. The choice is yours!

Your First Steps into Married Life
Sunday will be a relaxed affair, with the guests staying at the house chatting and laughing and talking about your wedding day. Enjoy a cooked breakfast with Rachel looking after you in the house or on the terrace in the Walled Garden. Followed by garden games and a stroll down to the lake to see the swans. Guests could book into The Blissful Bower for a spoiling treatment.
A barbeque or pizza could also be an option for you and your close family and friends.
