The Main House at Pauntley Court offers a warm welcome to your wedding party with its characterful entrance hall, sweeping main staircase and three large reception rooms. The elegant light filled Ballroom is interchangeable as the ideal room for your civil ceremony and/or your wedding breakfast. The traditional Panelled Room with huge open fireplace, allows for a spacious drinks reception. The Pink Room’s cosiness and charm allows a place of quiet and relaxation for young and old alike. The large kitchen gives all the cooking and entertaining space you will need to keep your guests fed and watered during your stay with us.
Bedrooms: With 7 large luxurious bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 18 of your guests.

Bedroom layout
The Main House has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with 4 extra beds and sleeps up to18 people. Bedroom 8, is in the wing of the house known as Elinor Fettiplace. Bedroom9 and 10 are in the Dovecote.
Bedroom 1: The Owl and the Pussycat
This is the master bedroom at the top of the main stairs and with beautiful far reaching views over thesunken garden and Leadon Valley beyond. It has a super king sized bed with a big ensuite bathroom witha freestanding bath and walk in shower with underfloor heating. (1a)
Bedroom 2: The Wayfarer
This is next door to the Owl and the Pussycat and is a large south-facing bedroom looking into thecourtyard at the front of the house. It has a king sized bed and there is a day bed in this bedroom too. Ithas its own en suite shower room. (2b)
Bedroom 3: The Somerset
This is next door to the Wayfarer and is a pretty south-facing bedroom looking into the courtyard. It hasa king sized sleigh bed and there is a day bed in this bedroom too. This bedroom has its own bathroomopposite off the main landing with a large bath and hand held shower. (3c)
Bedroom 4: The Dick Whittington room
This is at the end of the main landing and is a large bedroom with a super king bed (which can be madeinto two single beds if required). It has an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. This bedroom has asecond door from which you can access the John Masefield bedroom and the second set of private stairs which lead to the John Masefield bedroom. (4d)
Bedroom 5: The John Masefield room
This bedroom is next door to the Dick Whittington room but has its own set of stairs (just for yourinformation these stairs are the back stairs so are steeper than the main stairs). It has a super king sized be which again can be split into single beds. It has an en suite bathroom with a shower over a bath and under floor heating. (5e)
Bedroom 6: The Stokes room
This bedroom has a king sized bed and a single bed and is accessed by the third staircase and shares a bathroom with the Riccardo room. Both Bedroom 6 and 7 can be accessed through a door from Bedroom 3. (6f)
Bedroom 7: The Riccardo room
This bedroom is accessed by a third staircase and has a king sized bed and a single bed in it. It is in the oldest part of the house so has a high ceiling with exposed beams. The bathroom next door has a shower over a bath. There is also a bed-in-a-box which allows four people in total to sleep in this room. (6f)
